Project Details

MFS’ geotechnical drilling team coordinated with our in-house engineering team to complete investigative borings and provided field oversight during the field investigation for each of the various PSE&G projects. During each boring, samples were obtained via Standard Penetration Test and the borings were performed using hollow stem augers and mud rotary drilling techniques. When required, rock cores were obtained to determine the strength and quality of the bedrock. Upon completion of the field investigations, MFS contracted and coordinated with a geotechnical testing laboratory to carry out a testing program.
