MFS Construction, LLC (MFS) was contracted by the National Park Service (NPS) to provide all the labor, equipment, material, and supervision necessary to accomplish the rehabilitation of the interior and of the exterior building systems of the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park (PAGR)SUM Building.

Project Details

The project included historical masonry repair, demolition and reconstruction of interior walls and ceilings, new copper and cast-iron sanitary lines from crawl space to second floor, reconstruct both bathrooms along with shower area, and new recessed light fixtures along with switches and receptacles.

The scope of work included exterior and interior preservation work, interior renovations, and repair/upgrades of electrical, and plumbing systems, and included:

• Brick Masonry Repair and Repointing
• Rough Carpentry
• Interior Finish Carpentry
• Thermal Insulation
• Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim
• Historic Painting and Clear Finishing
• Historic Treatment of Plaster
• Gypsum Veneer Plaster & Gypsum Wallboard
• Resilient Vinyl Flooring
• New Plumbing Fixtures including Lavatory Sinks, Toilets, Accessories and Shower System with Enclosure
• Plumbing Copper Waterlines and Cast-Iron Sanitary Piping
• Electrical Lighting Fixtures, Switches, Receptacles, Wiring and Load Center
• Grounding and Bonding for Electrical Systems
• Fire and Security Alarm System
